Terms governing the use of BeautyGrader facial geometric analysis, accounts, reports, and credit packages

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of beautygrader.com ("BeautyGrader", "the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

BeautyGrader provides computer-vision based facial geometric analysis, symmetry evaluations, and personalized styling recommendations.

  • Local Geometric Reference: Free landmark measurements and preliminary aesthetic scores are geometric reference calculations provided for personal entertainment, self-improvement, and styling reference only. They are not medical, psychological, or dermatological diagnoses.
  • Analysis Reports: Comprehensive styling and facial breakdown reports are generated based on uploaded photos and user preferences. Results may vary depending on lighting, facial angle, and image quality.

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use paid features.
  • If you register an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Content and Photo Permissions

  • Ownership: You retain all ownership rights in the photos you submit.
  • Consent and Lawfulness: You represent and warrant that you own or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and consents from any identifiable individual appearing in your photos.
  • Prohibited Content: You agree not to upload photos of minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, copyrighted material without permission, or images intended to harass, defame, or impersonate others.

5. Credits, Payments, and Refunds

  • Certain features and full aesthetic reports require the purchase of credits or report packages.
  • All purchases are processed through secure third-party payment providers (such as Stripe).
  • Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If a report cannot be delivered, contains a clear generation error, or you encounter another service issue after a purchase or subscription renewal, contact support@beautygrader.com within 7 days after that payment succeeds and describe the problem. Support will review the issue and help resolve it; eligible refunds are returned to the original payment method, with timing determined by the payment provider. Changing your mind or simply having unused credits does not qualify under this refund policy. Returning a report credit after a failed generation is separate from refunding a payment.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • The Service and all generated reports are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
  • BeautyGrader does not guarantee that analysis scores or recommendations will achieve specific personal, professional, or social outcomes.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeautyGrader shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

7. Governing Law and Amendments

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
